Our Aircraft Management program is targeted for individuals or companies that wish to operate an aircraft under 14 CFR Part 91 and also have the option of holding the aircraft out for charter under 14 CFR part 135.

With out almost 20 years of aircraft charter and management experience we have managed many personal and corporate aircraft over the years. Aircraft management takes the guesswork and headache out of owning your own airplane and allows you to maximize the cost effectiveness of owning such a large asset.

For most business aircraft, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) provides two sets of rules under which you can operate. Part 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) deals with aviation, and subsection 91 is for private operators. This would be the case if you or your company purchased an aircraft for personal or company business. You can operate those flights under the relatively relaxed rules of 14 CFR Part 91. However, you are not allowed to operate the aircraft for profit or compensation.

On the other hand, you could fly the aircraft under 14 CFR Part 135. This would allow you to operate as a private aircraft (Part 91) when transporting company officials or the owner. When not using the aircraft, you could use it as an air taxi and charge the general public a fee to use your aircraft. The requirements that you must meet to operate an aircraft as an air taxi operator are much more stringent than those for private operations. This is because the FAA is protecting the flying public that may use your service. These are a few of the areas the FAA is concerned about:

  • Air Carrier Certification
  • Drug Testing
  • Pilot Training / Hiring
  • Recurrent Training and Checking
  • Maintenance
  • Audit trails and proper paper work

Air Orlando Charter will take care of all of the needs for you. You simply tell us when you want to utilize your aircraft for your personal use, and we'll operate it under Part 135 while your not using it! We'll take the guess work out of owning and operating your aircraft.

Have you been considering a 14 CFR part 135 charter certificate? If so, then you are probably aware of the difficulties and delays in getting approved. It can take from 4-6 months to get a certificate, or even longer if you run in to some snags.

Air Orlando Charter offers a chance to "piggy back" on our certificate as a satellite operator. You will run your own office and have control of your aircraft, but will be licensed to hold forth as a charter operator and enjoy all the privileges of being licensed under 14 CFR 135.

"Why should we go on another certificate?"

There are several advantages to having your aircraft added to our certificate: Below are just a few reasons:

  • Operations Manual already approved
  • Training Manuals already approved
  • Training Program is in place, including check airmen
  • Flight Following in place
  • Established Experience in Charter Management
  • Established Relationship with the FAA
  • Cross Marketing Enabled with Air Orlando Charter
  • Insurance Counseling
